Therapy for therapists

Therapists and helping professionals spend much of their working lives holding space for others. But you are human too and there may be times when you need your own confidential space to process, reflect and be supported.
I offer therapy for therapists, counsellors and helping professionals in Killingworth, Whitley Bay and online across the UK.

A confidential space for your own support

Working therapeutically with others can be meaningful, but it can also bring emotional weight. Personal experiences, client work, professional pressures and life outside the therapy room can all affect how you feel.

Therapy offers a space where you do not have to be the one holding everything together. You can bring your own experiences, needs and vulnerabilities without judgement.

Support for therapists and helping professionals

Therapy for therapists may be helpful if you are:

  • Processing your own trauma, grief or relationship experiences
  • Feeling emotionally exhausted or burnt out
  • Navigating personal issues alongside client work
  • Struggling with boundaries, self-care or professional pressure
  • Wanting space to reflect on patterns in your own life
  • Seeking support from someone who understands the emotional demands of helping roles

This is a space for you, not your clients, your role or your responsibilities.

A respectful and experienced approach

With over 20 years of experience across the NHS and private sector, I understand the importance of safe, ethical and confidential support.

My approach is warm, trauma-informed and collaborative. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, creating space for honest reflection, emotional processing and deeper healing.

Therapy in person and online

Sessions are available in Killingworth at The White Swan Centre, in Whitley Bay at The Lantern Rooms and online across the UK.
